INTERIOR DESIGN isn't rocket science. It should be a JOURNEY that engages the entire family. A home should cater to its inhabitants....the people who live in it EVERYDAY.

Nancy Jane's Notes: Being overly creative in any room is a design disaster. Spread your creative talent throughout several well-defined spaces. Resist designing any room around current trends. Trends come and go. If temptation wins, try using trendy colors or patterns on small accessories like pillows that can be easily replaced. If you are getting the urge to start refreshing your rooms, take time to skillfully plan your transformation. Attention to detail suffers when impulsive tendencies take over. Patience is the key.
